Summary : Excavations have uncovered the site of a Roman corridor villa and associated outbuildings, bath-house and a possible temple. It was occupied from the 1st to the 4th century AD.
More information : This site, after its identification from aerial photographs, has been subject to a series of excavations from 1987 to 1990. (1) Although these have not yet been fully published, the plan of the site, including the location of the bathhouse, has been determined. (2) EA 4 Excavations have uncovered the site of a Roman corridor villa and associated outbuildings, bath-house and a possible temple? It was occupied from the 1st to the 4th century AD. (3)
