ELECTRIC TRAMWAYS POWER STATION

Designed by B.F.Simpson in 1900 for Newcastle City Tramways the building combined an electricity generating station to provide power for the tramway, and offices. An ornate building with stained glass and panelling. The building became a bus depot in the 1960s-80s.
