Summary : A series of fishponds with dams, across the Little Holbeck, in Park Wood, Gilling Park. Only three ponds survive, the others were breached. All were in good condition in April 1993. The dams are substantial up to 4 metres high.
More information : SE 5899 7658; SE 5899 7615; SE 5915 7601; SE 5965 7586. A series of dams across the Little Holbeck producing a similar number of ponds. Only three ponds survive. All in good condition in April 1993. Two other dams have been breached. The dams are substantial up to 4m high. (1)

SE 5895 7645. Lower Fish Pond SE 595 759. Higher Fish Ponds (two shown) Dams (referred to above) are depicted but not described. (2)
