Summary : 83-88A Greendale Road. A terrace of six houses and a post office designed by Grayson and Ould in 1891 for William Hesketh Lever. The post office was originally built as the village shop but was superseded by three co-operative shops. The houses are of one storey and attic constructed of brick, stone and tile with a tile roof. The Post Office is timber framed on a brick base, has two storeys and has a tile roof.
