The Deanery, formerly Prior's Hall, externally is 17th century but the interior dates from the 13th century. It is of 2 storeys and 2 parallel ranges built of flint faced with patches of brick and ashlar and has a partly tiled, partly pantiled roof with 2 hipped dormers on the main elevation, restored mullioned and transomed windows and a 19th century porch. The side elevation has two 17th century stepped gables and triple lancets. (2,3)
