The church comprises a nave (13th cent) and chancel (14th cent) 115ft x 28ft with a tower (14th cent) at the western end and a south aisle (partly 13th cent) 92ft x 24ft. The Clerestory and western end of the north aisle are of the 15th century. (2)
A large part of the tower, part of the south wall and considerable footings remain of the priory church. See GP/53/108/1 and AP/53/107/8. Some floor tiles remain exposed in the chancel. (3)
Ulverscroft Augustinian Priory of St Mary founded some time before 1174. (4)
