More information : SU 18745661: Pewsey 7, a bowl barrow 17 paces in diameter and 1ft high. May have been the barrow investigated by Colt Hoare and found to contain a -primary cremation accompanied by a bronze awl, two shale beads and part of a small cup. Two deposits of ashes were found nearby. (1-2)
Pewsey 7, excavated in 1958 when it was found to be a disc barrow containing a robbed out disc barrow. The silting of the ditch suggests a Romano-British cultivation layer. (3)
Pewsey 7. A bowl barrow which on excavation was found to be a disc barrow . Mound, ave. diameter of 18m, 0.3m high, ditch 5m wide and 0.2m deep. Surveyed at 1:2500. (4)
