This strongpoint, positioned to the north of Rolston camp, was situated within a defensive mine field. It was a simple earthwork and timber structure, and was plotted from aerial photographs by the Fortress Studies Group. They also visited the site during the Holderness Survey in 1992, they found the site to have been totally destroyed by the effects of coastal erosion. (1-1a)
The monument is also visible as an upstanding structure and earthworks on air photographs examined as part of the Rapid Coastal Assessment Survey of the Yorkshire and Humber Estuary. The features appears to be surrounded by a barbed wire perimeter. Due to coastal erosion the monument no longer survives in situ. (2)
