Situated within the grounds of Hornsea pottery, this pillbox, of the
standard lozenge type, was of reinforced concrete construction. It
was plotted from aerial photographs dated 1945, and was not visited
during the Fortress Studies Group Holderness Survey, so its present
condition is unknown. (1-1a)

The monument is also visible as an upstanding structure on air photographs examined as part of the Rapid Coastal Assessment Survey of the Yorkshire and Humber Estuary.
