No ground evidence of this antiquity. (2)

NY 0838 4752. Tower 15b not found; probable position fixed by chain survey in 1969, but high dunes in the area prevented test digging (3a). Measured position from adjoining tower and milefortlet. These precise measurements are not universal along the Roman frontier and cannot be assumed here. Located to NY 083 475 in a landscape of consolidated dunes; no trace and no local information. (3)
