More information : `Bude (Cornwall) 12th April: The GIRAFFA of Scarbro', Brown, from Cork to London, was driven on shore last night during a gale at NW about two miles from hence, and will be lost with her cargo of oats. A boy drowned.' (3) Source (4) is identical but spells the name of the vessel as GERAFFA.
