More information : [TF 0276 0729] Postern of Charles I. [A.T.] (1) Site of Charles I Postern. (2) No extant remains. (3) The gateway in the garden if 9,Barn Hill, has been identified as the early C17 Charles I's Postern. The house, Stukeley, House, was owned by William Stukeley, the antiquarian, who altered the postern in 1744. (4)
