BROWNRIGG NORTH TOWER 21B

The buried remains of Brownrigg North Tower 21B, part of the Roman frontier defences along the Cumbrian coast. The tower was visible as a cropmark on air photographs. The tower was originally of sandstone construction and is located on the seaward slope on the north-west side of Brownrigg Hill.
