The Medieval settlement described by the previous authority was
seen as cropmarks and mapped from good quality air photographs. The
settlement remains consist of enclosures attached to ditched
boundaries and are probably contemporary with a moat to the west
(see TF 48 NE 3). The enclosures are centred at TF 4646 8792,
TF 4678 8824 and TF 4619 8838. (Morph No. LI.433.1.2-4).
