Summary : A bowl barrow, excavated by Colt Hoare who located nothin, although it was originally recorded as Norton Bavant 4 by Goddard who states that antler, animal teeth, charcoal and burnt bone were recovered from it.
More information : ST 91014410 a bowl barrow 33 paces in diameter and 10ft high, ditched. Excavated by Colt Hoare, nothing located. (1-2) Barrow `D' a bowl barrow 4.6m high, ditched. (3) Originally recorded as Norton Bavant 4 by Goddard who states that antler, animal teeth, charcoal and burnt bone were also recovered from the barrow. (4)
