Summary : Site of church and cemetery. Excavations at the site in 1980 located the church, but it had been robbed to the foundations and no architectural fragments were found. The plan is of a round tower built in one with the nave. Unstratified pottery included Thetford Ware through to the 15th century. Twenty burials were also excavated. Goode dates the construction of the nave to the period 950-1000. The church had an apsidal end. |

St Peter's Church and associated cemetery were revealed during the construction of the Beccles By-pass. Only the foundations survived to reveal a single cell structure with a round tower. Twenty burials were recovered (2-3) |
