Gardens were first documented during the mid 16th century and were replaced with walled and terraced gardens by the mid 18th century. Walled and terraced gardens were also constructed between 1876 and 1908, some have late 20th century replanting. Some of the gardens laid out during the 19th century were removed circa 1900. (2) |
