BREAKWATER RAILWAY

The Breakwater Railway was opened for stone traffic in 1878 running from the terminus at South Ship Channel (SY 7016 7442) to join the Portland Branch of the Portland and Weymouth Railway [SY 67 NE 32] at SY 6850 7415. It was operated jointly by the GWR and LSWR. Now dismantled.
