CHURCH OF ST MARY MAGDALENE

Church, 12th century with Saxon origins. Formerly the Priory Church of Loders Priory (see SY 49 SE 9). The western half of the north wall of the chancel dates from the 12th century, but the rest of the chancel is 13th century, which may also be the date of the nave. The west tower and south porch are 14th century, the south chapel 15th century. Restored in 1836 and 1900. Listed.
