Some parts of the course come within a quarter of a mile of the sea but Hornsea is really parkland and heath in type. It has been used for County matches and in 1985 hosted the Yorkshire Ladies' Championship. There is a long, if narrow, practice ground, an approach green and a putting green. (2)

18 hole parkland/moorland course, designed by Sandy Herd. It was founded in 1910. (3)
