ST NICHOLAS CHURCH

Parish church. 11th century west tower, 15th century, restored 1872 by Sir A.W. Bomfield. Ironstone rubble, ironstone and limestone ashlar. Plain tile roofs. West tower, nave, south porch, rectangular chancel and north recess. West tower with bell stage of 1872. There is a later 11th or 12th century grave marker against the east wall of the chancel.
