More information : [TA 0057 2208.] 2 A finely-wrought, Roman, covered urn, containing blackened bones and two or three corroded nails found in 1828, in a regular seam of earth about 7 ft. deep and 5 yards wide running in a direct line down the hill. A crouched human skeleton laid with the head to the west was found at the same spot. (1-2) Find spot as noted by authority 2 is now under pasture. The present location of the finds was not determined. The illustration (authority 1) shows a Roman cinerary urn with lattice decoration. (3)
