Summary : Founded as a hospital for poor persons under 1-2 regular Augustinian canons before 1166, by which time the first prior was appointed. The Priory was suppressed in 1536. Its precise location is unknown.
More information : The Hospital of SS. Mary and Edmund at Elsham was founded before 1166, and became an Augustinian Priory about 1200.
