Summary : Canal aqueduct on Peak Forest Canal, built between 1794 and 1801. One of the major aqueducts of the region, nearly 30m high and comprising three wide spans.

Goyt Aqueduct, canal aqueduct on Peak Forest Canal over River Goyt.
Built between 1794 and 1801. Benjamin Outram and Thomas Brown
engineers. Ashlar, dressed and rock faced stone. Three wide spans
nearly 30m high. An outstanding piece of engineering and design on
a monumental scale. Grade I (for full description see list). (2)

One of the major aqueducts of the region, 309ft/94m long and 100ft/30m above the river. (3)
