Summary : Walled gardens and landscape park to Bramshill House. The formal walled gardens were laid out and landscaping of the park tok place between 1639-1699. Additional new garden designs were planted and additional planting within the park took place from 1699. During the late 18th century and early 19th century the gardens became less formalised and the park was extended. The gardens were restored in 1920.

Early 17th century formal gardens and pleasure grounds at Bramshill House comprising a series of terraced walled gardens which have turrents on the main walls. Features include a terrace, bowling green with a loggia and a rose garden. A deer park, established in 1347 is situated to the east of the house. Traces of a tree avenue and rides are also present. (2) The formal walled gardens were laid out between 1639-1699 with additional new designs planted and additional tree planting taking place from 1699. During the late 18th century and early 19th century the gardens became less formal and the park was extended. In 1920 the gardens were restored. (3)
