Summary : 15th-16th century tithe barn, rectangular on plan constructed of brick, divided externally into six bays by buttresses, with two tall, four arched entrances at the second and fifth bay. 17th century additions. The steep gabled tile roof is carried on arch-braced purlins supported on timber trusses comprising a high cambered tie-beam above arch braces, with 4 verticals, the 2 centre uprights meeting a secondary tie. There are vertical studs above the massive wallplates. |

Tithe Barn. A large rectangular brick structure, divided externally into 6 bays by buttresses, with 2 tall (4 centred) arched entrances at the second and five bay, each bay with 3 ventillating slots at 2 levels. The steep gabled tile roof is carried on arch-braced purlins supported on timber trusses (11 within a 10-bay interior sub-division) comprising a high cambered tie-beam above arch braces, with 4 verticals, the 2 centre uprights meeting a secondary tie.
