ST MARYS FRIARY GATEHOUSE

The gatehouse is dated to the 14th century and is of two storeys built of flint rubble, faced on the east and west walls with knapped flint and galetting and with dressings of imported limestone. The chamber above the gate arch was used as a chapel.
