Preston Tower

Summary : Part of a pre-1415 tower house, restored in 1864. Originally a larger, hall-type tower house with four towers, only the south wall and two corner turrets survive.

Mentioned in a list of 1415, the tower was originally a long building with turrets at the four angles. All that now remains is the south front with the SE and SW turrets and portions of the side
walls running north from these. (2)

Preston Tower (old), part of 14th century tower house; restored 1864. The remains include the south wall and 2 southern corner turrets of a higher hall-type tower house with 4 towers. The rear wall is of 1864. Grade II* (For full description see list). (4)
