Medieval cross socket stone and shaft (possibly from a different cross). The base is a block of square red sandstone with sides of 0.9m and 0.37m high. The shaft is of yellow sandstone 0.9m high. Thish is levelled at the top for a sundial which is missing. A plaque on the side comemorates a the Rev Walter Hughes who died in 1931, this is possibly the date of the sundial conversion. Scheduled.
