Summary : Remains of the Chapel Of St John The Baptist, which probably fell into disuse after its annexation in 1410.

The chapel at Albright Hussey was dedicated to St. John the
Baptist, and had the right of burial. In 1410 it was annexed to
the newly founded church at Battlefield (SJ 51 NW 4) and seems to
have fallen into disuse. Only a corner of its masonry remains. (2)

The remains of a turf covered mound of debris and part of the
east wall. It is built of sandstone with traces of brick, and
is 0.6m high. Other sandstone blocks are scattered around the
site. (3)
