MONUMENT NO. 67853

Medieval motte and possible bailey surviving as an earthwork. The motte has an average height of 5 metres. Part of the south side has been cut away. The top, which has a maximum radius of 3 metres shows no trace of a building. A partial surrounding ditch is no longer visible. A church was built inside what may be the bailey in the late 12th century. Scheduled.
