Summary : Parish church, early-mid 13th century church, altered 15th and 16th century. Restored in 1849 and 1900-10 by Sir H Brakespear, coursed Binstead stone and plain tiled roof. Formerly the refectory of Beaulieu Abbey, it is on a North-South axis of four wide bays.
