More information : [Marginal] Polished flint axe found at Scawby. In private possession. (1) Mr. Dudley (authy 1) is dead. Scunthorpe Museum have no information. (2) Area SE 9605. A cylindrically perforated oval macehead was found at Scawby in 1958. The precise provenance and circumstances of discovery have not been recorded. Epidiorite, petrological section no. 255.
