Summary : The Monk's Reredorter is believed to date to the 13th century and is a raised single-storey building. It is constructed of lias stone with Ham stone quoins and a half hipped thatched roof. It is now in use as a barn.
More information : (ST 42872482 Reredorter sited from Authority 3, fig.13.6, p.127 and OS 1:2500 1976) Monks' reredorter, now barn. 13th century possibly. Guardianship no. 429 Scheduled, Somerset 272 (sic. Incorrect, as SAM amendment of 24-Nov-1988 shows it to be Somerset 41). Grade II*, forms part of Muchelney Abbey (NAR ST 42 SW 7) (1-3)
