Summary : The abbots hall, garden and kitchen at Glastonbury Abbey, constructed during the 14th century. The kitchen is situated to the south of the Abbey church ruins and is one of the best preserved Medieval kitchens in Europe and the only substantial monastic building at Glastonbury. The Abbot's Lodgings was excavated during the early and mid 20th century.

Abbot's Kitchen, Glastonbury Abbey, isolated in the grounds south of the Abbey church ruins. One of the best preserved medieval kitchens in Europe and the only substantial monastic building at Glastonbury. 14th century. Grade 1. (4)
