Summary : Palaeolithic bone implements
More information : ST 29565871: Some bone fragments possibly broken by man were recovered from a late glacial level (Upper Palaeolithic), two bone fragments could have been worked. (1-2) The cliff at this site has receded to ST 29575872 and although the stratified occupation layers are still visible no finds were made. (3) ST296588: Upper Palaeolithic deposits of animal bone were recorded during the 1954-60 excavations by Apsimon, Donovan and Taylor. The fragments have been worked to produce flat surfaces. (4)
