Summary : Gate at west of Royal Naval College. Gate piers and lodges to the west entrance of the Royal Naval College built 1751-4 and relocated in its present position in 1850-1. Two massive Portland stone piers with plinths surmounted by celestial and terrestial stone globes. The lodges are of a single storey with attics. The iron gates date from the mid 19th century.
