Summary : Numerous incised trackways are visible immediately to the west of the Cawthorn Camps complex (SE 79 SE 45). They may result from the activity of military vehicles of World War II, as the North Yorkshire Moors was a major military training area during this period.

The numerous incised trackways, orientated north-west/south-east, and located immediately to the west of the Cawthorn Camps complex (SE 79 SE 45), may result from the activity of military vehicles of World War II. The North Yorkshire Moors was a major military training area during this period. (2)
