Summary : The site of the medieval mill to Coverham Abbey (SE 18 NW 6) which was rebuilt in the post-medieval period and is now a dwelling house known as High Mill. Situated to the west of the gatehouse at Coverham Abbey, the mill was powered by water, channelled through a stone lined leat from a system of tanks and ponds on the fellside to the north.
