The purported site of a medieval village at Westwick. Earthwork ridge and furrow, narrow ridge and furrow, ditches and banks are visible on historic air photos around Westwick Hall Farm (SE3548 6630). There are ditched features to the south of the farm at SE3553 6629 and a short length of parallel banks on the edge of the river terrace at SE3564 6622 but neither are particularly suggestive of settlement remains. The ridge and furrow lies either side of the Boroughbridge Road. Most of these features appear to survive as earthworks on 2009 Google Earth air photo. (3-5)
