Summary : Two storey country house constructed circa 1760, probably by John Carr for Daniel Lascelles. It is constructed of ashlar with a stone slate roof. The house appears to have been converted from the south range of the stables when Daniel Lascelles moved to Goldsborough Hall in 1762 and the building work on the much larger house to the south west ceased. |
