Summary : Stable block situated in Harewood Park, southwest of the House. It was constructed in 1755-56 by John Carr. The buildings are arranged around a quadrangle and are of two storeys.

Stables to S.W. of Harewood House, Grade II*.
By Sir W. Chambers 1755-6. Spacious quadrangle of simple design.
Stone built. 2 storeys. Hipped slate roof. Parapet with finials.
Arched entrances with rusticated columns and pediments. Museum
and flats. Colonnaded courtyard.
