ST MARGARETS CHURCH

DESCRIPTION + /

A former church, now demolished, built in the 14th century or perhaps earlier and may have at one time been part of the medieval Woodhall Hall moated manorial complex which is now a Scheduled Ancient Monument (No.33123) dating back to 1086.
The ordnance survey map (GIS 10/11/05, Epoch 1843-1893) shows the church to the north of the moated earthworks surrounded by a graveyard with vicarage to the east. None of the structures or buildings relating to these seem to survive today.
