ST JOHN THE DIVINES CHURCH

A parish church built in 1838 by Charles Briggs and restored in 1896 and 1908. It is now disused. The church plan consists of an octagonal west tower, nave, vestry and chancel. It is built in yellow brick with ashlar dressings and a slate roof. The stained glass in the east window is by Kempe and dated 1916.
