Forest of Knaresborough (SE 35 NW 18), the name being recorded in
1227. (For the associated hunting lodge see SE 25 SW2) (1-2)

The size and shape of the present parish of Haverah Park suggests
that it may represent its medieval predecessor; but all the existing
boundary is modern. (3)
