Summary : Railway station on the Barking and Pitsea Railway, opened in 1885. Underground services arrived here on 2nd June 1902 when the District extended its service eastwards, from Whitechapel to Upminster. The station closed when the District Line east from East Ham closed on 30th September 1905. It was not re-opened to District trains until 12th September 1932.
