Summary : Parish church, on the site of a Roman fort. Built in 1822 by G Crauford to replace the Medieval church (NX 92 SE 5). The chancel was added in 1885 by J Bintley (Kendal) in similar style, the interior was refurbished at the same time. A four-bay nave with integral three stage west tower and a two-bay chancel.
