Summary : Site of a railway station on the Aylesbury and Buckingham Railway, opened in 1868. Underground services arived here in 1891 when the Metropolitan introduced a service from Aylesbury to Verney Junction after buying out the failed railway company. Through services from Verney Junction to Baker Street were introduced in 1897. The service between Verney Junction and Aylesbury ceased on 4th July 1936 and the station closed.
