Summary : Railway station on the Scarborough Branch Railway opened in 1846. Of the early station by GT Andrews, only the platform to Scarborough survives. The station was rebuilt in 1912 by W Bell with a large covered concourse in brick with slate, steel and glass roofs. Grade II Listed Building.
