More information : [SE 0730 5420] BOLTON HALL [GT] Bolton Hall, built in the late 17th century, incorporates the gatehouse of Bolton Priory. [See SE 05 N.E. 1] Bolton Hall (which flanks the north and south sides of the gatehouse) has been externally restored, and now has a 19th c. appearance. Modifications of the same period have also been made to the entrance of the gatehouse thus enclosing it. The whole forms one integral building, in good condition and of architectural interest.
